New Physical Therapist in Prentice
(Prentice) Jonathan Rahmer, MSPT, CCI, recently joined the staff of Prentice Therapy & Fitness as a full-time physical therapist providing outpatient therapy services.He comes to Prentice Therapy & Fitness from Aspirus Pleasant View in Phillips where he provided physical therapy in nursing home and outpatient settings. He also has experience providing hospital and home health physical therapy services.Rahmer says he most looks forward to building and expanding the services provided at Prentice Therapy & Fitness, and to “providing quality, community-oriented care to area residents.”A member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Rahmer has a special interest in sports and spine related injuries, orthopaedic (skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments) rehabilitation, total joint replacement rehabilitation, balance retraining, and more.Rahmer, who grew up in Phillips, earned his Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.An outdoorsman and sports-lover, he enjoys hunting, fishing, biking, canoeing, playing volleyball, and more. He also likes traveling, reading health and technology magazines, and being active in the community.
